A warning light or flashing light is an intentional visibility device designed to draw attention to a specific location.
Car lights are rotating or flashing lights that are installed on the top of the car to attract the attention of the surrounding vehicles and pedestrians. Emergency vehicles such as fire trucks, ambulances, police cars, tow trucks, construction vehicles, and snowplows carry turn signals.
Aircraft warning lights or mast lights are high-intensity lighting devices attached to tall structures as collision avoidance measures. Such devices make structures more visible to aircraft and are usually used at night, although they may also be used during the day. These lights must be bright enough to be visible for kilometers around the structure.
